EXAMINATION & EVALUATION SYSTEM

LKG & UKG

There will be no formal examination for LKG & UKG. The assessment of learning outcomes will be made
through a term basis continuous evaluation system. The evaluation will include the month-long continuous
assessment & tests to be held during regular class hours. Parents will be appraised about their ward’s
development on the Parent-Teacher Meeting Day.

  •  The academic year is divided into three terms:
  • Evaluation-I is from April to August,
  •  Evaluation-II is from September to December and
  •  Evaluation-III is from January to February.
  • The child’s learning outcome will be evaluated through uniform system of assessment.

CLASS - I TO VIII

  • The academic year is divided into two terms:
  •  Term – I is from April to September and
  •  Term – II is from October to February.
  • The child’s learning outcome will be evaluated through “Uniform System of Assessment”.

Term - 1 (100 marks) (1st Half of the session)

20 Marks Periodic Assessment + 80 Mark for Half Yearly Examination
PA – (40 Marks)
Periodic Test (10 Marks) + Note Book Submission (5 Marks) + Subject Enrichment (5 Marks)

Half Yearly Exam:

Written Examination for 80 Marks with syllabus covered.

Term - 2 (100 Marks): 2nd Half of the Session

20 Marks Periodic Assessment + 80 Marks for Yearly Examination
PA – 40 Marks:
Periodic Test 10 Marks + Note Book Submission 5 Marks + Subject Enrichment 5 Marks

Yearly Examination:

Written Examination for 80 marks with syllabus coverage.

Class - VI:

10% of 1st term covering Significant topics + Entire Syllabus of 2nd term

Class - VII:

20% of 1st term covering Significant topics + Entire Syllabus of 2nd term

Class - VIII:

30% of 1st term covering Significant topics + Entire Syllabus of 2nd term

CLASS – IX to XII:

As per CBSE Examination Pattern.
